Fork Lift Truck Training Performance Evaluation

Once the students have successfully completed the classroom portion of the fork lift truck training they can move on to the second part of training – the performance evaluation. Each student must individually demonstrate his or her capabilities in certain areas of operation of the equipment. This hands-on evaluation is necessary for completion of the course. The hands-on portion of the program is also completed at your location. You will need to set aside an area that can be used for this instruction. The fork lift training students will need to safely operate the equipment by actually lifting and moving items. The instructor will help you set the area up ahead of time. You may want to have this portion of fork lift truck training done before or after working hours or set aside an area that is not needed.
